Mobile Device Security… Use It or Lose It!

Mobile devices make it easy for us to carry work documents, contacts, personal information and much more at our fingertips. Information is readily accessible. However, we risk serious damage to our personal and professional lives if it falls into the wrong hands.
It’s important to implement security measures that, at the very least, mitigate the loss of a mobile device. For instance, make use of data encryption tools, such as TrueCrypt, that encrypt and password-protect laptop files and folders.
And don’t save passwords in your browser! While convenient, this practice is an open invitation to your e-mail, banking site or even your company network for anyone who accesses your system.
