Why Earn Your Broker Price Opinion Resource Certification?

Today there are 12,058 BPO orders in Illinois through NAR’s BPOR certification. Are you getting any of them? Are you leaving your share of the potential $602,900 in income on the table?  Get your piece of the pie by earning the BPOR certification and create an additional income stream.

A BPO is an estimate of probable value of a residential property based on selling prices of comparable properties in close proximity, with similar features and in similar condition. BPOR certification provides the tools you need to find the true value of an asset. Certification also offers access to numerous BPO companies where, as a certified expert, you will receive preferential treatment.

The BPOR allows REALTORS® to be confident in their assessments and reduce their risk. What’s more, it enrolls you in a panel of preferred BPO providers. A total of more than $3 million in BPO order income is available each month to those who complete BPOR certification.

Accurate BPOs advance your work with short sales and REO properties. The more accurate the estimate, the quicker you sell the property and often at a higher selling price than if the property remains on the market for a long time.

Earning the BPOR also provides additional important benefits:

  • Its core course is an elective for ABR® designation
  • Differentiation as a BPOR in the online directories at REALTOR.com® and REALTOR.org
  • Use of the BPOR logo and name
  • Free BPOR webinars
  • Downloadable BPOR certificate
  • Customizable press release
  • BPOR lapel pin available for purchase
  • No annual certification dues (although you must maintain NAR membership to use the BPOR)
